Initially stepping into real estate in a marketing role in 2007, Hugh’s exemplary IT and web skills helped lift vendors’ properties to new levels of exposure online. Like putting on a well-loved pair of shoes, Hugh was right at home (if you’ll pardon the pun) in the hoamz team, having worked with many of the agents and staff in previous positions.
2012 saw Hugh team up once again with old business colleague and top agent Graeme Jackson to provide a superior level of service to vendors and buyers alike. Fully aware that buyers are regularly looking for a mixed-use property in this international destination, Graeme and Hugh have made sure they understand the growth markets of ever-evolving online shopping for apartment living and residential real estate in the area.
It’s that team environment that drives this likeable chap in his mission for real estate success. ‘It’s about working with a great team to match buyers and sellers; I know it’s a bit of a cliché, but it’s finding the right property for someone that makes it such a great job’ says Hugh.
Communications skills are another arrow in Hugh’s quiver of real estate qualities. As a keen user of all manner of technology, vendors and buyers can expect to hear regularly about all the latest happenings, trends and stats from this people person.
A self-confessed ‘movie geek’, Hugh likes nothing better than to spend his weekends teaching his infant son Jedi mind tricks, whilst somehow still finding time to build his new home in the popular Shotover Country subdivison.
